The Armistice
The below article finalizes the action in Europe, click the images for greater clarity. The American forces ultimately helped bolster the French and British forces in Europe and were able to overpower the remaining forces of the Central Powers. Of importance is the surrender of the Armistice and surrender of the German Army. The end of the war would lead into the Treaty of Versailles and the enormous reparations burdening the German government and people. The limitations and pressure on German would result in a depression. During the lowly times the Nazi Party under the leadership of Adolf Hitler would come to power and a Second World War would ensue just over 20 years after the first had ended.
This would ironically be an unfortunate truth as WW2 began just over 20 years after the end of WW1.
